Through the summer months here at Clear Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's while Clear Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Adirondack       Mountains. Lakes are splendid; Forestmere Lakes is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Clear Lake, and a delightful close by hotel is Woodlake Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Donaldson George A and Sons is a nice location to camp, and Mount Pisgah is a great local ski area. So many fun things to do here at Clear Lake, too great to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone                  but if it's for you then we recommend Meacham Lake Outlet, and Clear Lake is a place with many visitors from Malone. Looking for some flowing water? Try Hays Brook, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of St. Regis River - East Branch. Clear Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month is January. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is so good! After a long day outdoors THE HOTEL SARANAC is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and everybody close by loves skiing at Titus Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
