There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Hays Brook is next to Clear Lake and is always a diversion to go to; after a long day outdoors THE HOTEL SARANAC is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. From a rain point of view Clear Lake is a rather common site; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest.       All through the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Clear Lake, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Clear Lake are in the 0's. There's whitewater on St. Regis River - East Branch for all you adrenaline junkies, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Titus Mountain while you're here. There's just no way anybody can                  get bored here at Clear Lake. Spring Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Donaldson George A and Sons is a glorious local campground. Woodlake Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest; this is a popular location for folks from Malone. This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Mount Pisgah; if you came for an overnight stay Camp Cherokee is a nice spot to camp. Clear Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The McKenzie Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is bountiful here in the Adirondack Mountains.
