That right there is loads already, but it continues; Clausen Pond has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Inn; you'll probably meet some folks from Amsterdam here. The yearly rain here at Clausen Pond is about average; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Paddling on West Creek is so       much fun; Mohawk Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Mohawk Camp Ground is a great local campground, and float down the rapids of Caroga Creek in a kayak. High temperatures at Clausen Pond through the summer months are in the 80's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, usually in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Clausen Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
