Clarke Pond is a place with many visitors from Oneonta, and a great close by hotel is Lake View Motel. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Spruce Creek for all you adrenaline people, and do visit Shipman Pond, it's a gorgeous lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend East Canada Creek, and a quick trip to Cripple Creek is undeniably a good idea. Green Apple Inn is       a wonderful place to get some rest, and a round of golf at nearby Otsego Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. All through the warm days of summer at Clarke Pond highs are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Clarke Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Glimmerglass State Park is always a great experience.                  This place, Clarke Pond, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. You can make out Mount Wellington from Clarke Pond, and a journey to nearby Clarke Point is very relaxing. Clarke Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
