Through the summer at Clark Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's while Clark Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Black Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and       Hampton Inn Bennington is a great site to get some rest. Hit the slopes at Willard Mountain around here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Batten Kill River. Go for a hike on the West Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Alexandra B and B. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Lauderdale Campgrounds is a great local campground. Lakes are great; Dead Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Clark Pond.                  This lake is so wonderful. The top of Mount Colfax is easily distinguished from Clark Pond, and you're perhaps keen on lakes, Hedges Lake is one of those close by. Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping is a glorious campground nearby. What a place this is for outdoors people. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Clark Pond called the Healing Springs Nature Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Battenkill River.
