Good hiking is available along the West Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Town House Motor Inn. The amount of precipitation that falls at Clark Pond is close to the national average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail, and the good people of Bennington like to hang out nearby.       This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Clark Pond is nice fun, Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping is a nice local campground, and get wet paddling on Batten Kill River. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Battenkill River, and if you need a place to stay Blue Willow Motel is a wonderful choice. All the outdoors cool stuff near Clark Pond will keep you coming back time and again. Why not camp at Lake Lauderdale Campgrounds since you're here at Clark Pond, and there                  are fine locations to look at along the Healing Springs Nature Trail. From Clark Pond you obtain a good view of Mount Colfax; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Willard Mountain. Dead Lake is a delightful lake near Clark Pond, and why not take a little trip to Black Creek since you're here. Summertime at Clark Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's.
