Here at Clark Pond there are plenty of folks from Plattsburgh, and not far from Clark Pond you'll come across Butternut Pond which is a scenic lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Boquet River - North Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and why not visit nearby Cassidy Brook since you're here at Clark Pond. So much                  exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Mud Pond, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Port Kent Golf Course is close by. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Clark Pond. The yearly rainfall here at Clark Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest.
