Clark Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. There are plenty of people from Plattsburgh here at Clark Pond; dry warm beds await you at Plattsburgh-Days Inn. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Plattsburgh is a good site to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Au Sable River Campsite. Summer at Clark Pond comes       with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Clark Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Cassidy Brook flows through this vicinity. If the weather is pretty, you get a nice sight of Alec La Mountain Mountain from Clark Pond; glide down the rapids                  of Boquet River - North Branch in a kayak. Clark Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. From a rain point of view Clark Pond is a relatively common place; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Lakes? Sure, Mud Pond is in the vicinity; get covered with water paddling on Ausable River. This lake is so wonderful.
