This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Rome is a nice site to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is nice on Mohawk River. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fish Creek - East Branch; Oneida City Reservoir is a good lake close by. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Everybody close by loves skiing at Woods Valley,       and a good close by hotel is Paul Revere Lodge. If you came to camp CMA Campground is a great place to do that, and Stace Hill is simple to spot from City of Rome Reservoir. Take a side journey to Christian Brook, and obviously, all our national parks are pleasant places to have a look at and Fort Stanwix National Monument is no exception. City of Rome Reservoir is a relatively wet place ordinarily with lots of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest                  with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Gotta ski! Snow Ridge is a brilliant place to do that, and a beautiful lake like Portner Pond is a fine place to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at City of Rome Reservoir you can play some golf at Beaver Creek Golf Club, and camping at Treasure Isle RV Park is always a nice experience. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to City of Rome Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
