Penfold Bay is close at hand and always fine to explore; why not head up to Mount Pisgah and strap some skis to your feet. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. You could also visit Barnum Pond if you're here at Church Pond; it's nearby, and a day on the slopes of Titus Mountain is just what you need. This site rules, just check out all the amusing stuff to       do near Church Pond. Float down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak, and camping at Church Pond is fine fun, Donaldson George A and Sons is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Meacham Lake Outlet is so much fun, and Pioneer Village is a perfect campground here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Church Pond a wet location; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount                  of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Church Pond you can take a hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail, and Ampersand Bay Boat Club is a great place to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Church Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Church Pond. Church Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Adirondack Mountains.
