In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Chub Pond is one of them. A good site for whitewater paddling close to Chub Pond is Cedar River, and if the weather is pretty, you acquire a glorious view of Little Blue Mountain from Chub Pond. Chub Pond is a quite wet place frequently with a large amount of precipitation; all through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Raquette River; hey, Beaver Brook is a great local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Woodlake Inn is a glorious
location to get some rest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Chub Pond. Chub Pond is not the only place close by, Blue Mountain Lake is a close by lake; going for a hike on the Sucker Brook Trail
is always a splendid adventure. There is a good hiking trail close to Chub Pond called the Northville Lake Placid Trail. There's so much to do here at Chub Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Long Lake Camp is a perfect site for that.
