Many people like to go to Chub Pond. Summertime highs at Chub Pond usually tend to be in the 70's, and the night is rather colder of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows at Chub Pond all through the wintertime commonly descend into the 0's. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. Don't leave Chub Pond without first going for a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail;

If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. The peak of Little Blue Mountain can be seen from Chub Pond, and camping is available at Tioga Point State Campground. This lake is so wonderful. spot to go to. There are wonderful places to look at along the Northville Lake Placid Trail, and some exciting geology is available here, Castle Rock is right here. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more amusing
stuff to do here at Chub Pond. Getting to Beaver Brook from Chub Pond is easy, and camping at Whispering woods is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Chub Pond, you could also stop by beautiful
Blue Mountain Lake, and whitewater paddling is good on Raquette River. Chub Pond is a reasonably wet place regularly with a good deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest.
