From a rainfall point of view Chub Lake is a rather common place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Natural Bridge K O A Camp Ground is a nice campground here, and do take a look at Huckleberry Lake, it's a picturesque lake. At Chub Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the       50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Chub Lake. Stay the night at Natural Bridge/Watertown KOA, and after a long day outdoors Lawrence Manor is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. This place, Chub Lake, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Oswegatchie River - West Branch; you're sure to run into some nice people from Ogdensburg-Massena                  here.
