Chub Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Chub Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping is available at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park, and dry warm beds await you at Johnstown/Gloversville       Super 8 Motel. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too good to be true. You'll find a gorgeous lake called Good Luck Lake near Chub Lake, and get wet paddling on Piseco Outlet. For the duration of the warm months at Chub Lake highs are generally in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Chub Lake. This lake is so                  wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, North Branch West Branch Sacandaga River is a stream you can check out during your stay, and there are plenty of folks from Gloversville here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. On a delightful day you get a sight of Chub Lake Mountain from Chub Lake, and soar down the rapids of Sacandaga River - West Branch in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course is always a joy. Do pop by Trout Lake close to Chub Lake, it's a charming lake; Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny is a brilliant place to get some rest.
