All the water falling down from the sky makes Christie Reservoir a wet place; November is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. A good nearby hotel is Glens Falls/Queensbury Super 8 Motel, and if you came to camp L G Campsite and R V Sales is a good site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ramada Inn Glens Falls is a splendid place to       spend a night or two; Christie Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Moreau Lake State Park is a tremendous local campground. A visit to Haviland Cove Beach right next door to Christie Reservoir is always a good idea, and hey, Gotta ski right? West Mountain is a good site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Very stunning scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Willard Mountain; Hudson River is a brilliant whitewater spot                  nearby. Throughout the summer months here at Christie Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Christie Reservoir night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This is a popular place for folks from Glens Falls, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Dority Reservoir. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Christie Reservoir. Golf can be played at Tee-Bird Country Club. Lakes?
