But wait, there's more to do close to Christie Pond. Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a fine local campground, and since you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Pray Pond. McKinney Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit; after a long day outdoors Inn at Arbor Ridge and Cnf Ctr is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. The view of Clove Mountain       from Christie Pond is charming; the skiing at Thunder Ridge is brilliant. Christie Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. Float down the rapids of Ten Mile River in a kayak, and if you came for an overnight stay Sylvan Lake Beach Park is a good place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Clove Valley is next to Christie Pond                  and is definitely a perfect place to have a look at, and a perfect close by hotel is Le Chambord. Hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is brilliant fun. During the long summer days here at Christie Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Christie Pond descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
