Childs Ponds frequently gets a large amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Childs Ponds through the summertime months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures       at Childs Ponds descend into the 0's. So many enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains, just phenomenal. If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Malone is a wonderful choice, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Pisgah if you're here. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Oxbow is an interesting spot to stop by while at Childs Ponds. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Childs                  Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Legton. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Childs Ponds. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Malone is a great location to spend a night or two; delightful scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Titus Mountain. If you're here at Childs Ponds, you could take a look at Bell Brook, and the top of Owls Head is easily seen from Childs Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River; Childs Ponds is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Deer River Campsites is a tremendous place to camp nearby. Childs Ponds is located in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
