So many cool things to do here at Cheney Pond, too great to be true. Paddling on Boreas River - Upper is so much fun; Gore Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. A beautiful lake like Vanderwhacker Pond near Cheney Pond is a wonderful spot to take a look at; there's always Lester Dam to take a look at in the vicinity of Cheney Pond. Summertime highs at Cheney Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend       down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Cheney Pond plunge into the 0's. Cheney Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Brant Brook, and glide down the rapids of Boreas River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a splendid choice,                  and there's brilliant hiking along the Dividing Ridge Trail.
