Why not camp at Bowman Lake State Park while you're here at Chenango Lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bowman Creek. Chenango Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is       June; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Chenango Lake is Hunt's Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Howard Johnson Hotel is a fine choice. You get a great sight of Flagpole Hill from Chenango Lake. Lakes? Sure, Madison Pond is in the neighborhood. Summer at Chenango Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
