If you are in Rockland county it's always a good idea to stop by Cheesecote Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn By Marriott Spring Valley is a great spot to spend a night or two, and enjoy a round of golf at Minisceongo Golf Club. A good swamp in close proximity to Cheesecote Pond is Grape Swamp, and Cheesecote Mountain is a peak you can observe from Cheesecote Pond. Paddling on Popolopen Creek is so much fun; if you like skiing,

| | you're in luck; Mt. Peter is relatively near. Getting to Horse Chock Brook from Cheesecote Pond is uncomplicated; a wonderful nearby hotel is Candlewood Suites Nanuet-Rockland County, Ny. You simply have to love Cheesecote Pond. Get covered with water paddling on Ramapo River, and do take a hike on the Woodtown Trail. This lake is so wonderful. are splendid and Old Sebago Beach is no exception. High temperatures at Cheesecote Pond through the summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the
30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Cheesecote Pond descend into the 10's. Hiking along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is tremendous fun, and a magnificent beach nearby is New Sebago Beach. A striking
lake like Lake Welch close to Cheesecote Pond is a splendid location to go to; if you came to camp National Camp Assn is a great site to do that. Camping at Beaver Pond is always a good experience, and a fine place to take a look
at nearby is File Factory Hollow. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. You'll hit upon a stunning lake called Lake Askoti near Cheesecote Pond, and the snow is nice at Sterling Forest. The high level of rainfall makes
Cheesecote Pond a reasonably wet location; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
