At Cheesecote Pond you can catch a sight of Cheesecote Mountain, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Sterling Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side visit to Horse Chock Brook; swamps don’t sound that good but Grape Swamp close to Cheesecote Pond is quite good. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Camping is available at Beaver Pond, and after a long day outdoors Rockland Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for
you then we recommend Popolopen Creek; Minisceongo Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Near Cheesecote Pond you find the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and one of the best things about this spot is its proximity
to Old Sebago Beach. The Woodtown Trail is a fine hiking trail right next door to Cheesecote Pond; if you yearn for a little side tour, try File Factory Hollow. Really great skiing awaits you at Mt. Peter. Man, is there a heap
of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Cheesecote Pond. If you need a spot to stay Stony Point Center Pcusa is a brilliant choice, and going for a hike on the Breakneck Ridge Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Cheesecote
Pond gets a lot of water; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month.
