A large amount of rainfall falls at Chazy Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. The peak of Topknot Mountain can be observed from Chazy Lake, and since you're here, you could also go to lovely Bradley Pond. This lake is so wonderful.       Stay the night at Blue Haven Camp Ground, and hiking along the Schwartz Trail is splendid fun. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Chazy Lake is right by the Silver Lake Mountain Trail, and do have a look at Mud Pond, it's a striking lake. Get soaked paddling on Great Chazy River. There's so much to do here at Chazy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Douglas Corp Of Silver Lake is a nice location for that. All the outdoors amusing stuff                  in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Here at Chazy Lake you'll in all probability meet some folks from Plattsburgh, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Saranac River.
