Chapel Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a splendid local campground, and Woodruff Motel is a pleasant site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Whiteface Mountain if you're here. Chapel Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. John's Brook has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby,       and you can go for a hike on the Weston Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Keene Valley Ausable Inn, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Ausable River - East Branch. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Chapel Pond. Camping at High Peaks Base Camp is always a good experience, and don't leave Chapel Pond without first going for a hike along the Stimson Trail. And that's not everything you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains.                  On a delightful day you acquire a vista of Noonmark Mountain from Chapel Pond, and there's tremendous hiking along the Leach Trail.
