This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Lake Placid; Icy Brook is in the vicinity of Chapel Pond and is always a diversion to have a look at. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. The Weston Trail is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Chapel Pond; Giant Washbowl is a nearby lake that you could go to. From a rain point of view Chapel Pond is a quite       typical place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Chapel Pond that you need to camp here for a while, High Peaks Base Camp is a good place for that; close by you hit upon the Stimson Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Noonmark Mountain is charming and can be made out from Chapel Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Chapel Pond has to offer, you can camp at Paradise Pines Camping Resort. Really good skiing awaits you at Whiteface Mountain, and paddling on John's Brook is so much fun. Chapel Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. If you get bored of Chapel Pond, you could also check out nearby Dipper; after a long day outdoors Courtyard Lake Placid is a glorious place to spend a night or two. At Chapel Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
