This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Summertime highs at Lake Champlain generally tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Champlain. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Lake Champlain. Why not take a refreshing hike along the West Shore       Trail; a good place to camp here at Lake Champlain is Camp Skyland. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Courtyard by Marriott Burlington Harbor is a great place to spend a night or two; Salmon River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Take a hike on the Island Farm Nature Trail; Lake Champlain is right by the Southern Tip Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls                  at Lake Champlain; August is the wettest month with most rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hilton Burlington is a magnificent site to get some rest, and you could always look at Colchester Reef. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping is available at Port Kent Campsite Office, and Round Pond is a wonderful lake nearby.
