     Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Woodlake Inn is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Regis River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at THE HOTEL SARANAC, and getting to Hays Brook from Chain Lake is easy. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need  
   more than a day to explore everything Chain Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Cherokee, and since you're here you can take a hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail.
This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Pisgah; a lake nearby is Forestmere Lakes. While you're here at Chain Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Malone, as expected you could also stop at Clear
 
               Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Chain Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest.
There's so much to do here at Chain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Donaldson George A and Sons is a great place for that, and Meacham Lake Outlet is a good whitewater spot close by. High temperatures at Chain Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Chain Lake.
If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Head up to Titus Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and on a lovely day you acquire a wonderful panorama of Jenkins Mountain from Chain Lake. Chain Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
