What a nice lake Cellar Pond is. Do explore Little Moose Lake near Cellar Pond, it's a pretty lake; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Raquette River. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Nothing beats kicking back at Silver Beach; McCauley Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. At one point the trail runs into a bog/pond and the wooden planks are flooded over.
