     Cellar Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Dry warm beds await you at Hedges, and if you came to camp Browns Tract Pond State Campground is a perfect spot to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Bradley Mountain is a peak you can observe from Cellar Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Moose River - South Branch in a kayak.  
   There's so much to do here at Cellar Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Tioga Point State Campground is a wonderful spot for that.
Throughout the days of summer here at Cellar Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cellar Pond. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains.
 
               If you come at the right time of year, Raquette River offers some great whitewater, and Silver Beach is quite nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. If you need a place to stay Hemlock Hall is a great choice; going for a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Hiking along the Sucker Brook Trail is tremendous fun, and you can hit the slopes at McCauley Mountain in the vicinity. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cellar Pond a wet site; through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Cellar Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
