Do explore Little Moose Lake near Cellar Pond, it's a pretty lake; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Raquette River. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Nothing beats kicking back at Silver Beach; McCauley Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Cellar Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. The warmest time of the year at Cellar Pond comes       with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Cellar Pond plunge into the 0's. There's perfect hiking along the Sucker Brook Trail, and here at Cellar Pond you can see Bradley Mountain. Cellar Pond ordinarily gets lots of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain; the                  driest of the months is February. All year is a wonderful time in the Adirondack Mountains if you adore the outdoors. The Northville Lake Placid Trail offers hiking at its best; Cellar Pond is a good location to visit for more than one day, Browns Tract Pond State Campground is a good location to camp nearby. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Cellar Pond. Tioga Point State Campground is a fine campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Moose River - South Branch. This lake is so wonderful.
