This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Raquette River in a kayak, and you'll find a wonderful lake called Carry Pond. Go for a hike on the Sucker Brook
Trail, and do stop by Buell Brook if you're here at Cedar River Flow. This lake is so wonderful. Hoss's Country Campground is a brilliant local campground.

Northville Lake Placid Trail
 | Not sure where Plumley's Point is but I hiked the Northville Lake Placid trail about 4 or 5 miles north from Long Lake village and it was fairly well maintained (just a little overgrowth). At one point the trail runs into a bog/pond and the wooden planks are flooded over. You must make a detour to the left and bushwack to some rocks to cross (hiked June 09)...8/14/09 I'm wondering if anyone knows the trail conditions for the Northville Lake Palcid trail from Long Lake village to near Plumley's Point-... |
