A quick trip to Alewife Brook in the neighborhood of Cedar Pond is a good idea, and Barcelona Bank is another brilliant spot to stop by nearby. Cedar Pond is a rather wet place mostly with a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and September is when it's the driest. Lakes? Sure, Alewife Pond is in the neighborhood, and Dangerous Rock is a great place to take a look at while in the area.       Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things close to Cedar Pond. One of the best things about Cedar Pond is its proximity to Gibsons Beach, and if you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Atlantic Golf Club. At Cedar Pond throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Cedar Pond. A trip                  to Grassy Hollow invigorates the spirit, and if you need a spot to stay The Greenporter Hotel and Spa is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's a fine forest near Cedar Pond called Northwest Woods; Village Latch Inn (Le) is a fine place to get some rest. Why not camp at Rocky Neck State Park if you're here at Cedar Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a perfect vista of Powder Hill from Cedar Pond, and during your stay here do go to nearby Sammys Beach.
