    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Cedar Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Cedar Pond usually gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February.
Middle Settlement Creek flows through this neighborhood, and camping is available at Moose River Camp Grounds. Whitewater paddling is good on Moose River, and if you've had enough of Cedar Pond, Grass
 
   Pond is close by. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more fun things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at 19th Green Motel; there are tremendous spots to discover along the Stone Dam Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Cedar Pond without first going for a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail, and a tremendous site to camp here at Cedar Pond is Singing waters Campground. Summertime highs at Cedar Pond usually tend
 
               to be in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cedar Pond plunge into the 0's. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is great! Woods Valley has nice slopes and a friendly staff; Country Club Motel is a great site to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River - Middle Branch, and fine skiing awaits you at McCauley Mountain. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. There's great hiking along the Forty Mountain Trail, and if the weather is delightful, you acquire a glorious view of Bare Mountain from Cedar Pond.
