    If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Cedar Pond. Cedar Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. A quick tour to Nate Pond Brook close to Cedar Pond is a delightful idea, and no need to travel far to visit  
   out of the ordinary stuff like Blue Ledge.
A good spot for whitewater paddling near Cedar Pond is Cedar River, and a great nearby hotel is Garnet Hill X C Ski Center. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Beaver Ponds while you're here at Cedar Pond; it's close by; if you need a location to stay Binder's Cabins is a great choice. And if that's not enough there's a load more amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Near Cedar Pond you hit
 
               upon the Oregon Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and on a wonderful day you acquire a fine vista of Dunk Hill from Cedar Pond.
Camping at Whispering woods is always a great experience, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Gore Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail is always a nice adventure. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Cedar Pond. The Northville Lake Placid Trail is a good hiking trail close to Cedar Pond, and you can run the rapids of Hudson River.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Cedar Pond; the overnight is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Cedar Pond tend to be in the 0's.
