Song Mountain is a fine local ski area. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cedar Bay, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's; night lows at Cedar Bay during the wintertime regularly drop into the 10's. Green Lakes State Park is a nice campground nearby, and Econo Lodge Dewitt is a brilliant       site to get some rest. Looking for something near Cedar Bay? Getting to Meadow Brook from Cedar Bay is trouble-free; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Toggenburg is relatively near.
