Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Otter Creek, and you can hit the slopes at Snow Ridge nearby. Catspaw Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Stysh's Brown Barn Campgrounds is a nice site to camp nearby. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. Woods Valley is a very popular ski area close by; golf can be played at Brantingham Golf Club.       You can run the rapids of Independence River in the neighborhood of Catspaw Lake; of course Little Otter Creek flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Catspaw Lake; Stone Dam Trail is a great local trail, and a lake nearby is Sand Pond. All through the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Catspaw Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs                  are in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Catspaw Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Moose River Camp Grounds is a brilliant campground nearby; if you get bored of Catspaw Lake you could also check out close by Pleasant Lake.
