High temperatures at Catlin Lake during the summer months are in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Catlin Lake tend to be in the 0's. The yearly rain here at Catlin Lake is about average; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest month is February. So much fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just tremendous. Deer       Pond is a good lake right next door to Catlin Lake, and why not camp at Whispering woods since you're here at Catlin Lake. If you need a site to stay Woodlake Inn is a wonderful choice; get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Rock River. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Catlin Lake. Best Western Mountain Lake Inn is a great spot to get some rest; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cold River.                  Skiing at Mount Pisgah is one of those things you just should do, and close by you find the Northville Lake Placid Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Wolf Pond Outlet while you're here at Catlin Lake, and going for a hike on the Indian Pass Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Catlin Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Adirondack Mountains.
