     Catamount Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Catamount Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. You definitely must like the Adirondack Mountains. Catamount Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls all through August; February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Blue Jay Campsites, and Raquette River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. During the long summer days highs
 
   here at Catamount Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Catamount Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Catamount Pond. The Big Deer Pond Trail is a good hiking trail next to Catamount Pond. There's so much to do here at Catamount Pond  
               that you need to camp here for a while, Robinson's Iga is a good place for that.
On a great day at Catamount Pond you can take a hike along the Sixmile Creek Trail; you'll discover a gorgeous lake called Deer Pond. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Catamount Pond is a place with many visitors from Malone; paddling on Bog River is so much fun. While you're here at Catamount Pond you can take a hike along the Ash Pond Trail, and a lovely lake like Boottree Pond is a great site to check out.
