This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Cascade Pond. Cascade Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; through August this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. THE HOTEL SARANAC is a magnificent location to get some rest; Cedar River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby.       Tioga Point State Campground is a wonderful campground here; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail. A lake nearby is Brady Pond; if you're here you can take a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Whispering woods is a nice place to camp, and paddling on Raquette River is so much fun. All through the                  long summer days at Cascade Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
