Carter Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Pond Campground is a great campground nearby; one of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Carter Pond is Bell Mountain. You just should like Carter Pond. There's great hiking along the Indian Pass Trail, and let's not forget Bell Mountain Brook which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. There are other places

Go for a hike on the Oregon Trail, and some out of the ordinary geology is available here, Blue Ledge is right here. For the period of the warm days of summer at Carter Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Pond during the wintertime typically sink into the 0's. Lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Peaked Mountain Pond in close proximity to Carter Pond, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Mountain Lake Inn is a tremendous
place to spend a night or two. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Don't leave Carter Pond without first going for a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail, and everybody nearby loves
skiing at Gore Mountain. Carter Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Carter Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Hudson River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.
