Summertime highs at Carr Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Carr Pond dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for people from Ogdensburg-Massena,       and Comfort Suites Canton is a tremendous place to get some rest. There's whitewater on Oswegatchie River - East Branch for all you adrenaline people; a lake nearby is Partlow Pond. Good hiking is available along the Post Henderson Trail; a good close by hotel is Best Western University Inn. Carr Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place.
