Carr Pond is a good spot of normal precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Having a glorious time at Carr Pond is easy. If you need a location to       stay Comfort Suites Canton is a tremendous choice, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Jenny Creek. The skiing at McCauley Mountain is wonderful, and if you come at the right time of year, Oswegatchie River - East Branch offers some glorious whitewater. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Post Henderson Trail; camping at Higley Flow State Park is always a pleasant experience. Throughout the summertime, highs frequently are in the 70's at Carr                  Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's.
