Nothing beats kicking back at Oakland Beach, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Bonnie Briar Country Club. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Carpenter Pond. You'll find a delightful lake called Sheldrake Lake near Carpenter Pond, and while you're here,       you could take a look at Pine Brook. While you're here at Carpenter Pond, you could also go to pretty Reservoir Number One. Camp Echo Lake is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at AKA White Plains. Carpenter Pond is a rather wet place typically with a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls during July; the driest month of the year is February. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Carpenter Pond, and the overnight                  is a little cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Carpenter Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
