A visit to Carpenter Pond is always a good idea. You're most likely into lakes, Marsh Pond is one of those close by, and Swiss Acres Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Carpenter Pond is unbeatable! There are some perfect whitewater spots on Saranac River; there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Silver Lake Mountain Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining

This lake is so wonderful. Carpenter Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Douglas Corp Of Silver Lake is a delightful local campground, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail. Pond is Pioneer Village; the Schwartz Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. Carpenter Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; August is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. Carpenter
Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you get a panorama of Baker Hill from Carpenter Pond, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Whiteface Mountain is relatively
near. Through the summertime months at Carpenter Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Carpenter
Pond. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. If you come at the right time of year, Saranac River - North Branch offers some perfect whitewater, and the snow is brilliant at Mount Pisgah.
