Pioneer Village is a nice campground nearby, and Mount Pisgah has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Whiteface Lodge is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Line Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the McKenzie       Pond Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Carpenter Pond gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. Carpenter Pond is right by the Schwartz Trail, and Douglas Corp Of Silver Lake is a perfect local campground. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too                  delightful to be true.
