In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Holmes       Lake Outlet, and next to Caroga Lake you hit upon a golf course called Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course. If the weather is great here at Caroga Lake, you can go for a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and Caroga Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby.
