Inn at Arbor Ridge and Cnf Ctr is a brilliant site to get some rest, and you can run the rapids of Ten Mile River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Le Chambord is a magnificent choice. While you're here at Lake Carmel you can play some golf at Centennial Golf Club of New York, and Dean Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore.       The skiing at Thunder Ridge is delightful, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. From a precipitation point of view Lake Carmel is a quite common place; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. High temperatures at Lake Carmel during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's                  while Lake Carmel nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Palmer Lake near Lake Carmel, it's a beautiful lake, and a tremendous place to camp here at Lake Carmel is Camp Kiwi. Any time is a pleasant time at Lake Carmel if you adore the outdoors.
