     The beauty of Canada Lake attracts many people from all around. Golf can be played at Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course. And that's not all you can do here at Canada Lake. Not far from Canada Lake you stumble on Point Breeze, and if you came for an overnight stay Campsite is a great place to camp. Canada Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains.
Some of the water close by flows, like Frie Flow, and a good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville,
 
   Ny. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Canada Lake, you could also visit striking Green Lake; you can see Kane Mountains from Canada Lake. Through the summertime highs here at Canada Lake reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Canada Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look
 
               at, and you can run the rapids of Sprite Creek. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Near Canada Lake you hit upon the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and camping is available at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Canada Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Amsterdam, and Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel is a pleasant spot to get some rest.
The annual precipitation here at Canada Lake is about average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. A good place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Canada Lake is Caroga Creek, and swamps can be such exciting locations, pop by Mud Lake while you're here at Canada Lake.

Never been there...going there soon though....l\Love it there, going today. :)...Great spot for swimming in the summer. Clear waters, with many rocks and small cliffs to jump off, along with a rope swing! Its a heavily used area, made apparent by the large amount of garbage left around during the busy months, but  all in all a good lake and definatley worth the short hike....

Buckhorn Lake is a private Association Lake located 2 miles north of Unadilla, New York (in Otsego County). Very friendly towns folk and this lake holds the New York State Record for a Large Mouth Bass caught in 1994. The lake is fed by many underground springs but is not ery deep. Morehouse Lake is completely on private property under the ownership of the Morehouse Lake Club which was founded in 1889 and also has within it's borderline Barto Lake and Mud Pond. The outlet stream is called Little Goldmine and runs southeasterly into the East Canada Creek near Powley Place....
