Not far from Canada Lake you stumble on Point Breeze, and if you came for an overnight stay Campsite is a great place to camp. Canada Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Some of the water close by flows, like Frie Flow, and a good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville,       Ny. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Canada Lake, you could also visit striking Green Lake; you can see Kane Mountains from Canada Lake. Through the summertime highs here at Canada Lake reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Canada Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look                  at, and you can run the rapids of Sprite Creek. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Near Canada Lake you hit upon the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and camping is available at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Canada Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Amsterdam, and Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel is a pleasant spot to get some rest. The annual precipitation here at Canada Lake is about average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains.
