There's so much to do here at Camp Field Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Discovery is a delightful place for that. Nearby lakes? Sure, Penelope Pond is in the neighborhood of Camp Field Reservoir. Camp Field Reservoir gets much water; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you came       to camp Beaver Pond is a brilliant location to do that, and hey, Gotta ski right? Sterling Forest is a pleasant location to do that. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Canopus Creek; there's wonderful hiking along the Woodtown Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes. Cortlandt Lake is a lake nearby; dry warm beds await you at The Thayer Hotel. During the warmest time of the year here at Camp Field                  Reservoir, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Camp Field Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Moodna Creek, and you obtain a wonderful vista of Blue Mountain from here. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Popolopen Creek, and great hiking is available along the Stillwell Lake Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be.
