If you need a site to stay Swiss Acres Inn is a glorious choice; a splendid site for whitewater paddling is Cold River. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too splendid to be true. At Cameras Pond you can see Scarface Mountain; going for a hike on the Van Hoevenberg Trail is always a great adventure. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Cameras Pond called the McKenzie Pond Trail. All year       is a fine time in the Adirondack Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. A magnificent close by hotel is The Whiteface Lodge; Black Pond is a wonderful lake close by. Near Cameras Pond you stumble on the Indian Pass Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and skiing at Mount Pisgah is one of those things you just should do. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. The amount of rain that falls at Cameras Pond is close to the national average;                  the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is frequently the driest month.
