And if that's not enough there's lots more entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Hiking along the Post Henderson Trail is magnificent fun, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Oswegatchie River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Cage Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Ogdensburg-Massena. This lake is one of the great places here       in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Robinson's Iga is always a delightful experience, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Deer Marsh is right nearby. Summertime highs at Cage Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Cage Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Just can't get                  enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Take a little spree to Cage Lake Outlet while you're here at Cage Lake, and there are other places here than Cage Lake, for example Muir Pond. The snow is magnificent at McCauley Mountain, and if you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some fine whitewater. A perfect place to camp here at Cage Lake is OLD Forge Camping Resort; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Salmon Lake Trail. Cage Lake gets a normal amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Man, is there loads of cool things to do next to Cage Lake.
