This lake is located in the wonderful Catskill Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There's so much to do here at Cables Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Catskill Mountain Kampground is a great place for that, and paddling on Beaver Kill River is so much fun. So many cool things in the Catskill Mountains, just unbelievable. If you need a location to       stay Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a tremendous choice; if you came to camp Delaware Valley Campsite is a magnificent place to do that. And that's not all you can do here in the Catskill Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cables Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cables Lake. Cables Lake usually gets                  a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. The summit of Rodgers Hill can be seen from Cables Lake, and glide down the rapids of Callicoon Creek - North Branch in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
