I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Butternut Pond. Perkett Mountain is a peak you can observe from Butternut Pond, and a wonderful nearby       hotel is Plattsburgh-Days Inn. Throughout the warm months highs here at Butternut Pond reach the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Butternut Pond. Butternut Pond is a good place of normal rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.                  There are other spots here than Butternut Pond, for example Keenan Pond, and you can stay the night at Au Sable Chasm Koa Kampground. Lakes? Sure, Mud Pond is close by, and paddling on Boquet River - North Branch is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains.
