So much exciting stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too great to be true. A nice place to camp here at Butternut Pond is Au Sable River Campsite; some nearby water includes Cassidy Brook. This is a popular place for folks from Plattsburgh; whitewater paddling is great on Ausable River. Butternut Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Grand       Prix Motor Lodge is a tremendous choice, and get soaked paddling on Boquet River - North Branch. So much cool stuff to do here at Butternut Pond, too perfect to be true. A pleasant nearby hotel is Bayview Motel Restaurant, and a nice sight of delightful Perkett Mountain is available. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Butternut Pond while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and after                  the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Butternut Pond plunge into the 0's. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Butternut Pond; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most while January is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Port Kent Golf Course, and Butternut Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ausable River Campsite is a good local campground. All year is a nice time in the Adirondack Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors.
