Through the summer at Butler Pond highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Butler Pond. This lake       is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Wilkie Intake Reservoir since you're here at Butler Pond; it's close by, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Hudson River. Cobble Mountain can be spotted from Butler Pond, and Butler Pond is not the only site nearby, Wilkie Reservoir is a nearby lake. Be careful coming to Butler Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. Really nice skiing awaits you at West Mountain, and people from Glens                  Falls love to come here. Butler Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Top of the World Golf Course, and Butler Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Adirondack Camping Village is a great local campground. The amount of precipitation that falls at Butler Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout August; January is when it's the driest.
