There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Don't leave Burris Pond without first going for a hike along the Clear Pond Trail. There are delightful sites to discover along the Lost Pond Trail; a tremendous nearby hotel is Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel. Just can't get enough of Burris Pond. There's so much to do here at Burris Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Griffins Ten Acre Campground is       a delightful place for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Putnam Creek. Throughout the summertime at Burris Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Burris Pond. So much amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. It's a magnificent idea to                  take a look at Cubtown Brook, it's close to Burris Pond; going for a hike on the Bear Pond Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a pleasant place to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Mill Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Burris Pond has to offer, you can camp at Craig Harbor Canyon, and if the weather is lovely, you obtain a brilliant view of Coot Hill from Burris Pond. Burris Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month.
