This lake is so wonderful. Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a good campground nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. The Party Trail offers hiking at its best; Lawson Top is charming and can be spotted from here. A great deal of rain falls at Burp Lake; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Burp Lake mostly       tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
