Burge Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Burge Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is regularly the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Whitewater paddling is good on Schroon River, and a striking lake like Pharoah Lake is a delightful place to stop at.

| | you at Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and swamps don’t sound that nice but Glidden Marsh near Burge Pond is pretty nice. And that's not all you can do here at Burge Pond. Paddling on Putnam Creek is so much fun, and magnificent hiking is available along the Pharoah Mountain Trail. Antwine Hill is pretty and can be observed from Burge Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Burge Pond; Long Swing Trail is a great local trail.

You'll come across a wonderful lake called Little Rock Pond near Burge
Pond; you can stay the night at Echo Lake Southwoods. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back many times. There's so much to do here at Burge Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Medcalf Acres Campsite is a good place for that, and you can go for a hike on the Short Swing Trail.
