Burge Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a nice place to spend a night or two; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Schroon River. All through the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 70's at Burge Pond while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. High       temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Burge Pond. So much cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just extraordinary. Looking for some flowing water? Try Pyramid Brook, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Horseshoe Pond is one of those close by. Lakes are delightful; Crab Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Burge Pond; swamps like Glidden Marsh are fun to have a look at. Going for a hike along the Pharoah Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and you can run the rapids of Putnam Creek.
