This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Medcalf Acres Campsite since you're here at Burge Pond, and do take a hike on the Long Swing Trail. Burge Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay The Sagamore is a fine choice. The amount of rainfall that falls at Burge Pond is close to the national average; during the month of August you get the most rain around       here; February is the month with the least moisture. A great swamp next to Burge Pond is Glidden Marsh, and a lake nearby is Arnold Pond. You simply must like the Adirondack Mountains. A perfect place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Burge Pond is Putnam Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel. Camping at Burge Pond is splendid fun, Schroon Lake Campground is a splendid local campground, and hiking is a popular thing                  to do around Burge Pond; Short Swing Trail is a brilliant local trail.
