Burdens Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A good nearby hotel is Residence Inn by Marriott Albany East Greenbush Tech Valley; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mohawk River. Lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Menands Reservoir near Burdens Pond, and Burdens Pond is not far at all from Albany-Schenectady-Troy. This lake is so wonderful. Deer Run Camp

If you came for an overnight stay Dingman's Campgrounds is a wonderful location to camp. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Burdens Pond has to offer. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites East Greenbush (Albany-Skyline is a glorious location to spend a night or
two, and swing by Poesten Kill it's a delightful place to visit. All through the summer at Burdens Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Burdens Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
