Bullhead Pond is not far at all from Glens Falls, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Hudson River. Just can't get enough of Bullhead Pond. Gotta ski! West Mountain is a great place to do that; there are other places here than Bullhead Pond, for example Devils Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Bullhead Pond a quite wet site; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest       month of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Bullhead Pond that you need to camp here for a while, River Road Campgrounds is a wonderful place for that, and the peak of Bald Mountain can be seen from Bullhead Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Sacandaga River offers some delightful whitewater. Golf can be played at Bend of the River Golf Club, and after a long day outdoors Lake Luzerne Motel is a great spot                  to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Island View Motel & Cottages, and striking scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Hickory Ski Center. Summertime at Bullhead Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Bullhead Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
