This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Twin Pond near Bullet Pond; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Whiteface Mountain. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Bullet Pond. Going for a hike along the Weston Trail will let you absorb the natural       beauty of this region. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bullet Pond has to offer, you can camp at Shearer's Riverside Campsite. And that's not all you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. The top of Noble Mountain is easily distinguished from Bullet Pond, and soar down the rapids of Ausable River - East Branch in a kayak. Bullet Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here;                  February on the other hand is the driest. On a perfect day at Bullet Pond you can take a hike along the Leach Trail, and a nice nearby hotel is Courtyard Lake Placid. For the duration of the summer highs here at Bullet Pond reach the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Bullet Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Lake Placid is a great site to get some rest. Stay the night at Paradise Pines Camping Resort, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Stimson Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
