Lakes are great; Big Pond is a lake that's right next door to Bullet Pond, and an afternoon playing golf at Town of Schroon Golf Club is always a pleasure. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This is a glorious region for people who like lakes. Horseshoe Pond is a lake nearby; camping at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Paradise Pines       is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Lake George/Warrensburg Area is a delightful choice, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Spectacle Pond Trail. If you come at the right time of year, The Branch offers some great whitewater, and at Bullet Pond you can see Beech Hill. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Bullet Pond with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime                  are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bullet Pond are in the 0's. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Bullet Pond. A pleasant nearby hotel is The Sagamore, and going for a hike along the Peaked Hill Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Trout Brook River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Long Swing Trail. From a rainfall point of view Bullet Pond is a relatively normal spot; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again.
